WEEK FIVE

-July 2-6, made phone calls to Schenectady Museum to ask about literacy program activity, music mobile to confirm contract. Poughkeepsie Library has 20-30 boxes of children’s books they can give to us. Looked up information on book donations. Went out to print and post flyers at Stewart’s, Brueggers, and libraries.

WEEK FOUR

-June 25-26, made changes and finalized the Literacy Fair invitation, flyer, and poster. Called Schenectady Museum & Suits-Bueche Planetarium, The World Awareness Children’s Museum, and Popp Butterfly Conservatory again to ask about their outreach programs for the Literacy Fair. Called Music Mobile to confirm. Attended the staff meeting at 11:00 a.m. 

-June 27-29, emailed music mobile more information about our organization and the Literacy Fair. Also looked up more activities we may be able to have at the Literacy Event through The Children’s Museum of Science and Technology and Art Utopia. Got in touch with Poughkeepsie Public Library to see if they would be interested in donating books to us annually. Created another book donation flyer with pull off 15-LOVE addresses at the bottom. Put notes in some of the children’s books.
