The Project Coordinator for Summer Reading: helps streamline the distribution process and organization methods for the books, as well as finding volunteers to routinely come into the office to organize the donated books. In addition, looking for sources of additional used books and book donations will also be important for the sustainability of the program. Project Coordinator will be essential in event planning (Literacy Event), forming community partnerships with other youth-serving organizations, recruiting volunteers. The Project Coordinator should have strong organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, an ability to work as part of a team, and a passion for youth literacy.
